Steps for Project Managers to add a new Risk to a Project or Project Request Risk Register.
Definitions
Risk = An uncertain event or condition that, if it occurs, has a positive or negative effect on a project’s objectives (something that could happen).
Instructions
- Open TDNext in the browser
- Browse to either the Portfolio Planning (for Requests) or Projects (for Projects) tab.
- Select the project name to open the Request, or project name -> Manage to open the Project
- In the pop-up window, click on the Risks Register tab in the left menu
- Click on the + (New) button

- Enter the Title, Category, Threat/Opportunity, Description, Probability, Impact, Urgency, and other related information.
- Click on the Save button

Project Managers must continue to actively monitor and maintain all identified Risks throughout the lifecycle of the project.
