Steps for Project Managers to add a new Issue to a Project
Definitions
Issue = A relevant event that has happened, was not planned, and requires management action.
Instructions
- Open TDNext in the browser
- Browse to either the Portfolio Planning (for Requests) or Projects (for Projects) tab.
- Select the project name to open the Request, or project name -> Manage to open the Project
- In the pop-up window, click on the Risks Register tab in the left menu
- Click on the +New button

6. Enter the Title, Category, Priority, Description and other related information. You can also associate the new Issue to a risk from the project's Risk Register.
7. Click on the Save button at the top

Project Managers must continue to actively monitor and maintain all identified Issues throughout the lifecycle of the project.
