Overview
Steps for Project Managers to add a new Stakeholder to a Project or Project Request Risk Register.
Definitions
Stakeholder = An individual, group, or organization, who may affect, be affected by, or perceive itself to be affected by a decision, activity, or outcome of a project. (PMI)
Instructions
- Open TDNext in the browser
- Browse to either the Portfolio Planning (for Requests) or Projects (for Projects) tab.
- Select the project name to open the Request, or project name -> Manage to open the Project
- In the pop-up window, click on the Stakeholders tab in the left menu
- Click on the +Add button
- In the pop-up window, type in the person's name. TDX will automatically search names & display a list names to choose from.
- Select the desired name.
- Enter information about the stakeholders under Responsibilities/Concerns and select the appropriate RACI check box.
- Click on the Save button

Project Managers must continue to actively monitor and maintain all identified Stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the project.
