Steps for Project Managers to add a new Stakeholder to a Project or Project Request Risk Register. 

Definitions

Stakeholder = An individual, group, or organization, who may affect, be affected by, or perceive itself to be affected by a decision, activity, or outcome of a project.  (PMI)

Instructions

  1. Open TDNext in the browser
  2. Browse to either the Portfolio Planning (for Requests) or Projects (for Projects) tab.
  3. Select the project name to open the Request, or project name -> Manage to open the Project
  4. In the pop-up window, click on the Stakeholders tab in the left menu
  5. Click on the +Add button
  6. In the pop-up window, type in the person's name.  TDX will automatically search names & display a list names to choose from. 
  7. Select the desired name.
  8. Enter information about the stakeholders under Responsibilities/Concerns and select the appropriate RACI check box.
  9. Click on the Save button

More Information

Project Managers must continue to actively monitor and maintain all identified Stakeholders throughout the lifecycle of the project.
