Overview
On the Groups tab within the Project Template, a system or project administrator has the ability to add or remove existing user(s) to a project template group for new projects and for any non-archived projects created with the project template.
Definitions
Role-specific permissions:
- LA – Limited Admin – The LA Group is confined to certain administrative permissions within a project.
- PA – Project Admin – The PA Group has the authority to add existing users to templates and assign role-specific permissions.
- Stamper – Only members of the stamper group are authorized to manually batch stamp files.
Instructions
From G|Net, launch ProjectDox - Electronic Plan Review and continue to the project's home screen.

Adding existing users
- Click on the Admin button.
- Navigate to the Templates tab.
- Move to the Project Template tab.
- Choose your desired template from the Edit Existing dropdown menu.
- Switch to the Groups tab.
- Select the role-specific group you wish to edit.
- Access the Add Members tab to view users.
- Search for the user.
- Mark the checkbox beside the user's name you wish to add.
- Press the Add Selected User button.
Repeat steps 6-10 for each role-specific group.
NOTE: Permissions will be granted for both new and non-archived projects created using the project template. However, it may take some time to include the user in all projects.

Removing users
- Click on the Admin button.
- Navigate to the Templates tab.
- Move to the Project Template tab.
- Choose your desired template from the Edit Existing dropdown menu.
- Switch to the Groups tab.
- Select the role-specific group you wish to edit.
- Access the Members tab to view users.
- Search for the user.
- Mark the checkbox beside the user's name you wish to remove.
- Press the Remove Selected User button.
Repeat steps 6-10 for each role-specific group.
NOTE: Permissions will be disabled for existing and non-archived projects created using the project template. However, it may take some time to disable the user in all projects.
