Accela - Inspection Calendar updates by Inspection Group

Overview

Applicants can schedule inspections from a list of inspection types provided on the Accela Citizen Access portal. However, some inspection types were not categorized during the configuration process, which prevented applicants from scheduling their upcoming inspections. The project team will submit a request to update the list when they become aware of missing inspection types. Please follow the instructions below to link inspection groups and types to a specified inspection calendar.

Instructions

Launch Accela Civic Platform and select Administration.

  1. Select Calendars from the left menu then choose Calendar.
  2. Select Calendar by Type.
  3. Choose Inspection then select the module from the expanded list.
  4. From the Calendar Name: Module section, select the Inspection Types tab.
  5. Select the Assign button and scroll to the Inspection Type.
  6. Select the type to expand and view the list then check the box (all the items in the list will be checked).
  7. Select the Submit button.

To confirm the change has been updated, refresh the application and repeat step 1 above.

  1. Select Calendar by Inspection Type then search for the Inspection Group.
  2. Expand the listed types to confirm the calendar icon is visible.
