Overview
Anytime a site page does not load or you are experiencing issues with your web browser, one of the first things you can try to solve the problem is clearing your Cache. Clearing Cache is very important to the proper use of ProjectDox and should be done often. Instructions are below for Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer:
Definitions
Cache = to place or store (something) in a hidden or secure place for safety or concealment
Ellipsis character (…) = a dialog or separate window will open and prompt the user for additional information or to make a choice
Instructions
Chrome:
On your computer, open Chrome
- At the top right, click the ellipsis
- Scroll down to Settings and select
- Click on Privacy and Security in the menu on the left
- Click on Delete Browsing Data
- Check Cached images and files option
- Click delete data

Microsoft Edge:
On your computer, open Microsoft Edge
- At the top right, click the ellipsis
- Scroll down to Settings and select
- In the search field, enter clear browsing
- Click Choose what to clear
- Check the Cached images and files option
- Click Clear now

Internet Explorer (External Users):
On your computer, open Internet Explorer
- Click on the 'Settings' menu at the top right of the screen
- From the drop-down menu, move the cursor over 'Safety'
- From the submenu, select 'Delete browsing history'
- A dialogue box titled 'Delete Browsing History' would open before you. Select the check box beside 'Temporary Internet files and website files. If you wish to remove other data such as download history, cookie and website data and form data, you can select those as well.
- Click on 'Delete' at the bottom of the dialogue box. Once done, Internet Explorer confirms with a message at the bottom of the screen
