Opting in and out of Teams queues

Teams Queue Management

You will be able to manage the queues you are in by enabling them and disabling them allowing you to opt in when needed without having to submit tickets to get added/removed back into the queue again. Steps are below with pictures included.

  1. You will need to manage this on the Teams app. Navigate into the settings of Teams to manage your queue involvement. You can do so by clicking on the 3 dots on the top right corner which is circled in red. You will click on settings after clicking the 3 dots.

  2. General settings screen you will see when going into the settings menu.
  3. Navigate to the Calls tab circled in red.
  4. Once in this menu you will see all your general call settings where you can manage voice mail, ring tones, call forwarding etc. We are going to focus on the top area circled in red. You will see all the queues you are in that you can opt in/out of in this area. In my case I added the 'FS186 HG' to show as an example.
  5. You are opted in when the bar circled in red is highlighted. If it is grey it means you are opted out. You will change this on the different HG queues you need to be opted in or out of. Keep in mind when this is off you will not receive any calls from that queue until it is turned on and vice versa.
