Connecting a Classic Calendar to Outlook

You can add a classic SharePoint calendar to your personal Outlook. Once connected, you can add, edit or delete events from Outlook without having to open the calendar in SharePoint. Note that you cannot connect a SharePoint calendar to Outlook for Mac.

Navigate to the calendar in your SharePoint site and then click the CALENDAR tab on the toolbar.

Note that this only removes the calendar from your Outlook calendars. It does not make any changes to the calendar in SharePoint, and any events you created while connected through Outlook will remain on the SharePoint calendar.
