Overview

Steps for accessing BRAZOS when completing a cellular phone transfer

Instructions

  1. Log into BRAZOS, (https://my.brazostech.com/default.aspx) from the upper right corner select RDC Control from the pull down.  
  2. Select Devices from the toolbar on the left side.
  3. Locate the user device to be updated;
  4. Click the Edit icon on the far left:

  1. Open the BRAZOS application on the new phone.  At the bottom of the home screen locate the 32 digit number.  This is the Device ID: number.  XXXXXXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXXXXXXXXXX

  2. Enter this number exactly as listed in the Device ID: and the Serial Number:

  3. Ensure the “Override Configuration” box is NOT checked.

  4. Scroll to the bottom and select “SUBMIT”

  5. From the pull down in the upper right corner select “Public Safety” 

  6. From the Configuration Builder pane select “Request Deploy” 

  7. Wait for this process to finish. Once completed go back the RDC control pull down; 

  8. Select “Devices” from the toolbar on the left side. 
  9. Locate the user device to be updated; 

  10. Check the box on the Right end of the user previously edited.

  11. Scroll to the bottom of the list and select “Set to Pull Full Config”

  12. On the phone open BRAZOS application and select SYNC from the upper right corner.

  13. Confirm the sync runs without errors.

  14. Close the application.

  15. Open the application, have user login and create a test citation.  Verify that citation number is created.
